For this project, a friend wanted me to make some logos for a business idea he had. He gave me the name and some color ideas, then left everything else up to me. He got inspiration from the game Dungeons and Dragons. I researched what bards typically look like and what their skills/ traits are.

 

I chose to do a lute which is usually a key instrument for bards. I combined the hops and barley to signal a brewery with the lute and put in the flag/scroll type banner in one design to be on theme.

For the second version I went a little more modern with the idea that it could be turned into a wood sign, that you see outside medieval shops, to be placed on front of his future business.
