In this project I was trying to convey the feeling and experience of Costa Rica while I was there. I wanted to incorporate the main saying in Costa Rica, “pura vida”, somehow into the bottle, so I decided to name it after the saying.

    For the logo I decided that instead of having the normal text side by side or underneath, it would be on top of one another and one would be incorporated into the other font. I decided to have a bolder font for the “pura” because it would have to be read first. The “vida” is thinner to be read second.
